BEFORE YOU APPLy
Before submitting your application, please review the expectations below to ensure your session aligns with the heart and purpose of Meet the Need 2026.
alignment with meet the need 2026 theme
Theme: Meet the Need 2026 is about cultivating a culture of care across South Carolina—equipping adoptive families with trauma-informed tools while strengthening the network of professionals and organizations who support them. Rooted in the principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention®, this training brings families and professionals together to grow connected communities where healing can take root and adoptive families can flourish.

Sessions should align with the theme by strengthening connection, supporting adoptive families, and/or helping cultivate trauma-informed (TBRI®) communities and systems of care.
intended audience
Sessions should be designed with a clear audience in mind. Our training serves a diverse group of participants, including adoptive parents and caregivers, adoption professionals, social workers, clinicians and mental health professionals, educators, and organizational or system leaders.
trauma informed expertise

Meet the Need is rooted in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®).

Speaker selection prioritizes individuals with demonstrated professional training, lived experience, or subject-matter expertise in trauma-informed, attachment-centered care. Proposed sessions should reflect practices consistent with Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) principles, including connection, empowerment, and correction.
Deadline to submit this form is May 1st.
All applicants will receive notification by May 15th.
