Family Support Specialist in the Upstate region
The Family Coach provides Adoption Preservation Services and Peer Support to adoptive families with high levels of stress and isolation including case management, support group, TBRI® Caregiver training and in-home coaching services. Family coaches work primarily remotely, providing services to families virtually and in-home, requiring travel and nontraditional hours such as evenings and weekend availability.
The position is full time and requires a bachelor's degree. Must have lived experience as a caregiver/parent of a child with a history of trauma and attachment challenges, and be able to provide peer support to families navigating similar needs. TBRI® Practitioner or willing to complete practitioner training within 6 months required.
The Family Support Specialist provides Adoption Preservation Services and Peer Support to adoptive families with moderate levels of stress including case management, support group, and trauma-focused, attachment-based trainings. Family Support Specialists work remotely.
The position is part-time and requires a bachelor's degree. Must have lived experience as a caregiver/parent of a child with a history of trauma and attachment challenges, and be able to provide peer support to families navigating similar needs. TBRI® Practitioner preferred or willing to attend TBRI® Practitioner Training in the future.
