Kandice Hunt

Kandice Hunt is a triple-certified teacher and TBRI Practitioner in Lexington, SC. She holds certifications in Deaf Education, Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Special Education. She earned her BA in Education of the Deaf from Converse University and her

Master’s in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.

 

Kandice is a mother to both biological and adopted children with special needs, including ADHD, PTSD, and Autism. After facing parenting challenges with children who have developmental trauma, she discovered TBRI through FFSC. This approach transformed her parenting and teaching, leading her to become a TBRI Practitioner. Passionate about attachment-based, trauma-informed practices, she now helps families and professionals implement these strategies. Her special interests include neurodivergence, language deprivation, mental health, and integrating trauma-informed care.

In her free time, Kandice enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, and practicing yoga.
