Christen Petro, BSA

Operations Coordinator

Christen Petro serves as the Operations Coordinator, where she combines administrative excellence with a deep personal passion for family-centered, healing-focused work. With a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Agriculture from Purdue University, Christen brings a unique blend of versatility, problem-solving, and people-centered thinking to her role. Her education cultivated a love for systems thinking and collaboration, skills that serve her well in supporting organizational leadership and daily operations.

Christen’s heart for healing and restoration is rooted in her own story. Growing up, she witnessed the impact of trauma and mental health challenges in those around her, inspiring a lifelong desire to support others on their journey toward wholeness. Her large, close-knit family includes 15 nieces and nephews, 8 of whom joined the family through adoption, giving her a deep appreciation for both the beauty and complexities of foster care, kinshipt care, and adoption.

In her role, Christen is known for her unwavering dependability, compassionate spirit, and ability to navigate both high-level coordination and behind-the-scenes details with poise. She is passionate about helping teams thrive by creating clarity, fostering connection, and ensuring that people feel seen and supported.

Outside of work, Christen enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. Whether exploring local parks, hiking, gardening, tackling home improvement projects, or spending time at the beach, she finds joy in the outdoors and values the moments that allow her family to slow down, reconnect, and create lasting memories.
