Wilderness Way Girls’ Camp is a therapeutic camping program nestled in the woods near Fair Play, South Carolina. Camp ministers to girls ages 10 to 16 who are struggling in relationships and life choices and want help. Through outdoor living, problem solving, and working together with her group, a camper will learn basic life skills to help her make responsible choices. Through scheduled home visits she applies these developing skills and attitudes to the home setting and relationships. THIS IS NOT A SUMMER CAMP.

Thornwell serves to prevent child abuse and neglect, to build up and reunite families, and to support healthy communities in the name of Jesus Christ. Thornwell has a continuum of services including academic services, child development programs, family services, foster care, residential care and transitional living for young adults. Thornwell has both in-home intensive family therapy for families with children ages 2 - 17 and a residential program for youth and young adults ages 11 - 22. In our in-home program, Building Families, Family Specialists partner with parents to develop a personalized plan for each family to work towards the positive changes relationally, behaviorally, and emotionally. In our residential program, youth live in a family-like setting with TBRI-trained caretakers receiving a variety of therapy services while parents are engaged in learning trauma-informed attachment-based parenting skills and participating in family therapy with the goal of family reunification.

The Jade Bridge serves foster, adoptive, and kinship families, as well as systems that intersect with the families we serve. Our support is both inside and outside of the home, based on the needs of the individual families. The TBRI® Caregiver Training is something that we offer to caregivers both in person as well as virtually and the events that we provide have elements of TBRI® infused throughout. We host a weeklong summer day camp that is saturated in TBRI®, for the campers (foster, adoptive, kinship and bio kids) as well as the parents/caregivers. We offer TBRI® training and implementation to churches and systems in order to align the language that we all use as we serve children, teens, young adults, and their caregivers.
